VAST™ Launches on macOS, Now Available Across macOS, iOS, and tvOS!

Astrogun’s anime-flavored sci-fantasy first person shooter VAST™ – Cosmic Treasure Hunters, about a misfit team of cosmic treasure hunters in way over their heads, has now soft-launched worldwide on macOS for $19.99 US.
The macOS edition comes after initially soft-launching as a timed-exclusive on tvOS in December 2017 and iOS (for iPhone) in January 2019. VAST™ will continue across macOS, iOS, and tvOS synchronously and in parallel, sold separately, with ongoing updates, enhancements, and new Episodes added for free for customers of each! VAST™ features the campaign ‘The Frozen Star’, starting with Episode 1 ‘The Star on No Map’, while more episodes will be coming throughout 2019.

Gamepad Support
Mouse & Keyboard
On macOS, VAST can be played with a mouse, keyboard, and touchpad.
- Movement: WASD
- Fire: Mouse 1
- Aim: Mouse 2 or Left Shift
- Jump: Space
- Action: Tab
- Cycle Weapon: Q or E
- Game Menu: Esc
MFi Gamepad Support
Additionally, MFi Gamepad devices (such as the Nimbus) are supported with VAST™ on macOS, just like VAST on tvOS.
Along with the macOS edition, VAST – Pocket Edition on iOS features 1:1 FPS touch controls, supports MFi Gamepads like the Nimbus, and also features support for Gamevice for portable gamepad play. A bonus ‘Easy Controls’ mode are coming soon to streamline controls for touch and make them even more accessible.
Major Console Gamepad Support
VAST™ on macOS launches supporting the Bluetooth wireless gamepads of Major Consoles: the Nintendo Switch Joy-Cons with Grip, the Sony PlayStation DualShock 4, and the Xbox One Controller.

Cross-Play Between macOS, iOS, & tvOS
VAST™ currently does not use any Save System, instead making each playable Episode available as it is released, much like a series on Netflix. Future versions of VAST™ may include a Save System and unlocking player progression, which may also take advantage of cloud saves between macOS, iOS, and tvOS editions for cross-play support. Each edition of VAST is sold separately.
